I had a decent stay at Stay Hotel Waikiki, where the fantastic location and helpful staff really made a difference. However, the small rooms and some noise issues took away from the overall experience. If you're looking for a place to crash after a day out exploring, it's a solid choice, but it's not for those who wanna lounge around in a luxury room.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and comfortable, but quite small and noisy due to street sounds and a loud AC unit. It lacked the peaceful vibe I look for when escaping.
Service
8.0
The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to assist me in finding attractions and directions. They really made an effort to provide great service.
Location
10.0
Can't beat the location! Just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Everything I needed was pretty close by, which made my stay enjoyable.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was basic but did the job. A couple of muesli bars and some fruit were available, enough to get me started before heading out for a full meal.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like free coffee, beach items, and laundry were a nice touch, but I experienced some noise issues due to construction nearby.

6.0/10

I recently stayed at Stay Hotel Waikiki, and while the location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beach and shopping, my experience was quite mixed. The room I had was very basic and a bit cramped, lacking storage space and feeling somewhat dated. The service was friendly and helpful, but I did encounter some cleanliness issues that were disappointing. Overall, I think the hotel’s location is its biggest draw, but I wouldn’t consider it a true resort experience.

Rooms
5.0
The room was cramped with minimal storage space and not very modern. I found the cleanliness to be lacking, especially the sheets that had visible stains. Additionally, I experienced some noise from the city, making sleep difficult.
Service
5.0
The staff were generally friendly and accommodating, but I did have an unpleasant encounter during check-in where the process was unnecessarily complicated. It felt unprofessional and made for a rocky start to my stay.
Location
9.0
The hotel is in a prime location, just a two-minute walk to Waikiki Beach and surrounded by shops and great eateries. This accessibility made my stay much more enjoyable despite the room’s shortcomings.
Dining
5.0
I appreciated the free coffee available in the lobby, but the breakfast setup was lacking with very few options. It could definitely use improvement in terms of more dining space and variety.
Facilities
6.0
I was pleased to find free beach gear and use of laundry facilities, which added value to the stay. However, I found the lack of parking options quite inconvenient, as I had to walk a couple blocks to find a space.

I had a great stay at Stay Hotel Waikiki! The location was unbeatable, just steps away from the beach and close to shopping and dining. The friendly staff made my experience even better, always greeting me with Aloha and being super helpful. However, I did notice some noise from the city and the rooms could have been better in terms of soundproofing. Overall, it's a perfect spot for budget travelers looking to soak up the local vibe.

Rooms

The room was clean and came with a mini fridge and coffee maker. I appreciated the basic amenities, but the opaque glass did obscure the view and let in some noise.
Service

The staff was incredibly warm and accommodating. They really went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay.

Right in the heart of Waikiki! Super convenient for getting to the beach and local spots. Couldn’t ask for a better location.
Dining

Dining options were a bit limited, but they did offer a nice breakfast. Just be sure to get there early!
Facilities

Facilities were basic but met my needs. Just wish there was a bit more available, like a fitness center or pool.

I had a stay at Stay Hotel Waikiki, which had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Waikiki Beach, and I appreciated the friendly staff who greeted me each time I walked in. However, the noise from the street and some maintenance issues made it challenging to fully enjoy my stay. Overall, it was a decent experience, considering the reasonable pricing. 🌴🌺

Rooms

My room was clean and well-kept, but it lacked a view and suffered from poor water pressure in the shower. The air conditioning unit was noisy, which made it difficult to sleep sometimes.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly, always willing to help, and created a welcoming atmosphere. However, I did experience a frustrating check-in process that didn’t feel secure. It could use some improvement.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location is excellent, just a three-minute walk to the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. This convenience was one of the best parts of my stay.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was included, but the offerings were limited and not very appealing. I ended up skipping it, so it would have been nice to not pay for that extra charge.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities included beach towels and some equipment for use. I did find the WiFi inconsistent, which was a letdown during my stay.

5.0/10

My stay at Stay Hotel Waikiki was a blend of great location and service mixed with some drawbacks. The staff, especially Kitty, made our time there nice with their warmth and friendliness. However, the room was small and I struggled with noise from the street, which made getting a good night's sleep challenging.

Rooms
6.0
The room was very basic and small, with outdated windows that allowed street noise in. I also found the lighting conditions at night to be poor. It became uncomfortable at times due to the heat and an A/C unit that was quite loud. I only got one washcloth, which felt a bit stingy.
Service
6.0
The service was friendly overall, but I did encounter a hiccup during check-in. There was some confusion regarding the change of the main guest, which added unnecessary stress to my arrival. Despite this, the staff was eager to help when needed.
Location
8.0
Location was the best part. Just a block from Waikiki Beach, I enjoyed easy access to the beach and local shops. It was a busy area, but I appreciated the convenience and the proximity to so many amenities.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were limited, consisting of some granola bars and fruit in takeaway containers, which was a bit underwhelming. A better breakfast service would have improved my overall experience.
Facilities
5.0
They offered basic facilities, but I found them quite limited. I appreciated the cleaning service from Rowena, who was wonderful, but overall, the facilities felt outdated.
